The Butterfly

b.t.w, the fish shown in the previous post is a "Chaetodon auriga" commonly the Threadfin Butterflyfish, sometimes Auriga butterflyfish.

There is no way that one should be kept in a 40 gallon tank, and she is one of the reasons I an setting up the bigger tank. She is also my oldest fish, having lived well in the tank since Feb. 2000.

Blog initiation

Post one is a test of the blogger system. So far, technology has been defeating me. This is the third attempt at a blog, and each time posting freezes up after one post. But now I can add pictures, so at least it is incrimentally more entertaining.
