Unexplained Fish growth

Now that i have a 3 fish tank, I think the other fish, (especially the yellow-stripe Maroon Clown) are having a growth spurt.
Pictures to follow...

Thanks to Debbie for taking care of the fish while I travelled over the weekend!

Plus, I have purchased (2) "SCWD" devices for use in the new tank. It is tempting to splice one in right now to see how well they work.....

Posting.

The last message just got posted because I was having some server issues. I think that everything is all fixed now.

The electricity was out until 11am, but the fish appear to have survived just fine.

Power Outage

After it became light this morning, it turned around and became dark again. The ensuing thunderstorm knocked out the power, and it was still out when I left for work.

I hope that I am not going to come home to some sort of nasty saltwater fish stew....

The phases of fish grief

Not much going on. When a fish passes I tend to loose interest for a while. Denial. The tank does seem to be staying cleaner without all that extra fish mass in there. The Wrasse was a very not-reef-safe fish, so this clears the way for more of a full reef tank. The problem of a shallow sand bed is gone, because the wrasse required a deep area to burry humself to sleep.

The new electrical outlet with a new circuit needs to get moving. It is step one in getting the new tank going.

P.S. I saw a blurb on the news this morning claiming that fish are more intelligent than dogs, and therefore PETA is protesting the commercial consumption of fish. Fish are certainly more intelligent they are usually given credit for. But it is hard to believe that they are smarter than dogs.

What do you think?
